  Introduction

Many businesses struggle to balance the need for systems that support mission-critical application that pressures to Reduced Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for IT infrastructure. AVIT enables your businesses to get both-high availability on Linux.

As we know, every enterprise today is looking to deliver additional value, Maximize the return on existing IT assets, Reduced Operational Costs, and invest in Cost-Effective, Innovative Solutions in positioning its business for the future. To be a market leader, an organization must realize faster time to application value when investing in infrastructure.

Linux provides a high-performance, reliable, open-source solution, provides greater flexibility, control and faster, cheaper application development, and it is low cost makes it the platform of choice for companies that are targeting the new Web economy.

Linux is software that ensures continuous availability by maintaining system. AVIT maintains the availability of clustered Linux systems by monitoring system and application health. We also provides the application to fall over to other servers in the cluster if the system goes down, minimizing the risk of failure and allows Linux system to meet stringent requirements of mission-critical operations

Linux also scale through cluster-base computing, where multiple individual computers are linked together to form a larger, more powerful computer or High-Performance Computing or storage complex. Thus, even if a single computer has to be shut down and restarted, it does not disable the entire cluster.

We made Linux a Top Priority across our entire business to bring real solutions to customers in all industries.

What is Linux?

As we may already know, Linux is a freely distributed implementation of an UNIX-like kernel, the low level core of an operating system. Because Linux takes the UNIX system as its inspiration, Linux and UNIX programs are very similar. In fact, almost all programs written for UNIX can be compiled and run under Linux.

Many commercial applications sold for commercial version of UNIX can run unchanged in binary form on Linux systems.

Linux was developed by Linus Torvalds at the University of Helsinki, with the help of UNIX programmers from across the Internet. It began as a hobby inspired by Andy Tanenbaum’s Minux, a small UNIX systems, but has grow to become a complete UNIX system in its own right. One of the most important decisions by Linus Torvalds to make all the code freely distributable to improve rapidly. This is how the concept of the “Distribution” was created.

Linux at the movies embedded brings graphics and animations to life!

World’s best, the experienced graphics artists at
- Digital Domain
, have generated visual effects for such films as Starship Troopers 2, Lord of the Ring - Fellowship of The Ring, Apollo 13 and Dante’s Peak.
- DreamWorks
has generated visual effects for  Sinbad, Shrek, and Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron
- ILM
generated visual effects for Star War Episode 2, and
- Rhythm and Hues
has done it in Harry Potter & The Chamber of Secrets.

But when director James Cameron selected Domain to conjure visual effects for Titanic, the artists faced a task of unprecedented size and complexity, with concerns to obtain enormous computing power at the lowest cost.

Konqueror can interface with Mozilla (is an open-source Web browser from Netscape source code), Internet Explorer or another Web-browser.

Application

Hundred of applications are available to be run using Red Hat Linux. Red Hat developed the Red Hat Package Manager (RPM), using tools developed for RPM, rpm commands, and you can easily install, remove, and perform on Linux RPM packages.

Powerful open-source publishing tools such as OpenOffice are becoming competitive with commercial office suites. OpenOffice consists of:

OpenOffice Writer-A word processing application you can work with documents in file format has a full set of features for using templates, fonts including images and effects and doing tables of contents.
